GIF( Graphic
Interchange Format) is a popular image file format developed by
CompuServe in 1987 and since then it is widespread use on web. This
file format is being supported by different devices like digital
camera, mobile phones, camcorders etc. However, like any file format,
GIF image is highly prone to corruption which ultimately results into
loss of GIF pictures.
Sometimes it happens that while transferring GIF image from digital camera or memory card to computer, picture file may lost or become inaccessible. On the other hand, unexpectedly ejecting memory card from the camera when dat is transferred, switching off the camera when read/write process is going on, virus infection or other damage the file system on card and results into memory card corruption. Once the memory card gets corrupted, GIF photos become inaccessible and in such case any of the attempt to access lost pictures gives fatal error like “memory card error” , “media needs to formatting” etc.
The thing is that if
you format the card then you lost even remaining data. So before
formatting you must keep backup of data. If no backup then you need
to use third party picture recovery tool to recover deleted or
inaccessible GIF pictures from corrupted memory card. The tool
support .gif recovery from formatted miniSD card, XD picture card, SD
card, cell phone, micro drive, USB drive and several other storage
media.
Apart from GIF
recovery, the tool is also able to recover JPG, BMP, PNG, TIF, TIFF
and raw file formats like CR2 (Canon), SR2 (Sony), ORF(Olympus), MRW
(Minolta), NEF(Nikon), PEF(Pentax) etc. With the help of the tool you
can recover picture files from almost all digital camera like Sony,
Nikon, Lacer, Sanyo, Samsung, Olympus, Panasonic and many other. The
program is simple and easy to use and designed to work with Windows
and Mac OS X version.
